COMPARISON CHART

Some of you have asked how FootPrints compares to Geocommunicator or Google Earth. It's kind of an apples and oranges situation. We have very little in common with either program. We created FootPrints because none of the available mapping programs were easy to use or had enough information by themselves for our needs as prospectors.

The first difference you will notice is how fast FootPrints is. If you are used to working online you will be amazed at the difference. It will also be obvious how readable and sharp our maps are compared to what is available elsewhere. We go to great lengths to sharpen, color match and balance our mapping layers so they work smoothly together.

Of course the reason many prospectors buy FootPrints is for the Claims layers. We are the only map to plot the actual boundaries of all the claims. You will not find this feature anywhere else.

There are over 12 Gigabytes of map and database info squeezed into every FootPrints map set. There is no way we can list all the features and advantages for the prospector. Below you can compare some of the more important mapping functions. Feel free to ask more questions!
